Adedotun Sulaiman has been a director since 1 April 2011 and has been acting as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since January 2013. Mr. Sulaiman is a Nigerian citizen and was educated at the University of Lagos and Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. Mr. Sulaiman is a renowned management and strategy consultant and has over 30 years of experience in transformational engagements in strategic plan development, organisation design and review, human resource management, and technology planning and process re-engineering. Mr. Sulaiman, a past country managing director and chairman of Accenture Nigeria, is currently chairman of several companies and non-profit organisations including Cornerstone Insurance Plc, Mouka Ltd, SecureID Ltd, Interswitch Ltd, Arian Capital Management Ltd, Corona Schools Trust Council and the Youth Business Initiative. He is also a non-executive director of Cadbury Nigeria Plc.

Oluwafemi Tejuoso has been a director since 6 March 2006. He is currently the executive vice chairman of Trifant Resources Ltd, an upstream exploration and production oil company. Mr. Tejuoso is a citizen of Nigeria and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the University of Nottingham. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Institute of Management. Mr. Tejuoso has extensive experience building and managing businesses in Nigeria at a top management level across various sectors, including manufacturing, health services, petroleum marketing, real estate and industrial raw materials trading. Mr. Tejuoso also serves on the boards of directors of Helios Towers Ltd in Ghana and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as the board of directors of Interswitch Nigeria Ltd. and Multi-Links Telecommunications. He has previously served as a partner at Helios Investment Partners LLP, vice chairman of the strategic planning committee of MAN and chairman of the Foam Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.

Femi Akingbe has been a director since 6 March 2006. He is currently the chief executive officer of V&T Limited and the chairman of Agusto & Co. Limited. He is a citizen of Nigeria and was educated at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976. Mr. Akingbe has 37 years of experience and has exceptional competence in relationship and portfolio management, financial consultancy, venture capital services, product marketing and international trade finance. He currently also serves as a director of Emerald Energy Resources Limited, Academy Press Business Forms Limited and Multi-Links Telecommunications Limited. His previous experience includes the roles of credit analyst, Lagos branch manager, assistant general manager and head of credit policy at Chase Merchant Bank Nigeria Limited.

Abhulime Ehiagwina has been a director since 26 February 2013. Mr Ehiagwina has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company since December 2012. Mr. Ehiagwina is a Nigerian citizen and has a Bachelor of Sciences degree, an MBA from the University of Lagos and an FCA. Mr. Ehiagwina has 21 years of professional experience in finance and management across the industries of telecommunications, oil & gas and consumer goods business. Before joining HTN, he was the chief financial officer of Etisalat Nigeria. He has also held senior finance positions in Total PLC and Airtel, where he served as director of finance.

Babatunde Soyoye has been a director since 22 April 2002 and is a co-founder and managing partner of Helios Investment Partners LLP. Mr. Soyoye is a Nigerian citizen and was educated at the University of London (Kings & Imperial College) where he received a B.Eng in Engineering and an MBA. Mr. Soyoye has more than 16 years of principal investment experience and, prior to forming Helios Investment Partners LLP, he was a principal at TPG Capital in London, responsible for telecommunications and media investments across Europe. Mr. Soyoye has also held posts as a senior member of the corporate strategy team at British Telecom, a manager of business development at Singapore Telecom International and as an executive consultant to Actis West Africa, an emerging markets private equity fund. Mr. Soyoye currently serves on the boards of directors of Petrobras Africa, Africatel Holdings B.V., Helios Towers Nigeria, Interswitch Limited, Equity Bank Ltd and Monurent.

Samuel Senbanjo has been a director since 24 April 2014. Mr. Senbanjo is currently the sector lead for the Power and Energy sector at Helios Investment Partners LLP, which involves playing a key role in the firm’s investments into Eland Oil & Gas plc and Petrobras Oil & Gas BV. Mr. Senbanjo is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Nigeria and holds a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in electronic and software engineering from the University of Birmingham. He is also qualified as a chartered accountant. Mr. Senbanjo has over eight years of private equity experience, which includes time spent in the roles of Vice President of Helios Investment Partners LLP and senior associate at HgCapital. Mr. Senbanjo has also held the roles of manager of transaction services at KPMG and corporate finance executive at Baker Tilly International.

Inder Bajaj has been a director since 27 January 2011. Mr. Bajaj has been acting as Chief Executive Officer since December 2010. Mr. Bajaj is an Indian citizen and he was educated at UBS Chandigarh and Delhi University where he obtained an MBA and a Bachelor in Commerce, respectively. Mr. Bajaj has over 28 years of professional experience with leading corporates in the telecommunications services and office automation sectors. He has performed a wide range of roles, with line jobs including leading strategic business units, setting up start-up businesses in B2C/B2B space and sales/business operations with direct/indirect channels. He has also performed many staff roles in functional areas of corporate strategy planning, product management, total quality management, sales training and human resources. Mr. Bajaj joined the Company from Reliance Communications Ltd India, where he served in the capacities of head of corporate planning and then later went on to become President and Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Infratel.

Kamar Bakrin has been a director since 24 April 2014. He is currently the operating partner of Helios Investment Partners LLP. Mr Bakrin is a citizen of Nigeria and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ilorin and an MBA from Colombia University, United States. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and a fellow at the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr Bakrin has extensive experience in the oil & gas, consumer goods and infrastructure sectors, focused predominantly on Africa and the emerging markets. His previous roles include group head of Honeywell Group, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vios Principals, Chief Executive Officer of Oando Energy Services plc, and Chief Operating Officer of Oando Marketing.

Phuti Mahanyele has been a director since 26 February 2013 and is the Chief Executive Officer of Shanduka Group. She is a South African citizen and holds a BA in Economics from Rutgers University, United States, and an MBA from De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom. Ms. Mahanyele completed the Kennedy School of Government Executive Education program “Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century” at Harvard University in 2008. Ms. Mahanyele has 17 years of experience and is currently also a member of the boards of directors of a number of Shanduka Group Investee Companies. Her previous roles include Managing Director of Shanduka Energy, head of the project finance South Africa business unit at the Development Bank of Southern Africa and Vice President at Fieldstone. In 2013, Ms. Mahanyele was given a “Distinguished Achievement” award by the Douglass Society, and the Africa Investors recognised Ms. Mahanyele as a “Leading African Woman in Business of the Year” in 2012 and 2011.
